Malakye Zaayin Tsosie is a filmmaker from the Navajo Nation. A graduate from the University of Colorado Denver, where he had the opportunity to direct multiple short-length documentaries, all depicting the lives of Navajo people living in the Navajo Nation.

His short documentary, Woven Together, was officially selected by the Santa Fe International Film Festival to premiere in the 2024 program. The film then won at the Durango Independent Film Festival for Best Native Cinema Film.

As a Diné man, he wants to tell stories that are akin to his culture and identity. It is a storytelling path that he wants to stay grounded in by offering redefined narratives that are truthful and unapologetic. He wants to be part of a collective of storytellers who honor, serve, and engage with the stories of people and their truths.
